Graduated from Laval University, Nathalie Belley entered the Quebec Bar Association in October 1992.
Trainee and then lawyer in a well established firm in the Quebec City area, she has completed a master’s degree in international commercial law. The qualities of her academic file made her the recipient of a scholarship giving the chance to complete a session of study at the University of Montpellier, France.
Having worked as a research auxiliary during her law studies, she decided to dedicate her master’s degree to the judicial control of fact. The quality of her master’s degree granted her a publication in the Bar Review.
She also worked as a corporate lawyer in Saguenay, her native region. In 1997 she starts her practice in Chambly as an associate in a local practice.
In 2005, Mrs. Belley establish her own firm, Nathalie Belley, Avocate s.a.
Nathalie Belley actively pleads in different cases in civil and commercial law. She also gives daily legal advice in several commercial transactions and business related issues. Analyzing contracts of all kinds is a major part of her practice.
Her expertise in international commercial law allows her to be involved in cases in the United States and with international partners, especially in the manufacturing sector.
Her knowledge in administrative law helped her distinguish herself in municipal law, labor law and disciplinary law. In the past few years, she managed cases related to child day care.
Mrs. Nathalie Belley is also an accredited mediator in civil, commercial and labor law.
